This is the concert that is held after the Festival classes in November 2009. The Festival Committee will invite selected participants to perform. Medals and Young Musician Awards will be presented at this concert.
The Festival concert will be held in the Performing Arts Centre at Frensham Heights School on Sunday January 17th, commencing at 3pm.
There will be no charge for entry but Programmes will cost £1 each.
The performances will include many highlights from the classes held in November as well as performances of one piece by each of the recital class winners. The exceptionally high standard of entries this year resulted in four Young Musician Awards, one in each section. At the concert the winners of the Young Musician Awards will each receive a cheque for £100.
At the end of the concert (approximately 5pm) there will be tea in the foyer provided by the Friends of Frensham so remember to bring your money to buy their delicious cakes and other treats!
